So I called the building company again today to try and figure out when they can install the building. They said they’re running about 8-10 weeks on delivery. So I’ve already been waiting almost a month…That means…another month and a half probably. This.hurts.so.bad. But for now, I have a cool photo shoot location.
This seat marks one of the final steps in this build. I recently got all the parts back from PC. My tank will be done soon. I finished wiring the bike last night and everything is working! Haven’t tried to run it yet, need to do a little more buttoning up first. But I’m very, very close!
I’m VERY excited about this build.
Big Tuna is finally complete. I’ve been riding it around for several days now and I LOVE it! So much torque for a 200cc engine! And it is tiny, like a mini-bike, yet very comfortable for my 5’10” 135lb frame. Quiet, easy as hell to ride, and very inspiring. This should make a great toy for someone. Here is a little before/ after action for you.
Once the footing was poured I dug out the entrance ramp/ patio.
Then I compacted the ground, and laid down a vapor barrier.
10 TONS of gravel was brought in. Which I leveled all by myself in about 5 hours. Anyone who thinks the Pyramids had to have been made by aliens seriously underestimates the power of man.
Once the gravel was down, I rolled out the wire. Also put in an expansion joint between the shop front and patio.
Next thing ya know it is 5:30am and the slab is getting poured! Don’t worry, I remembered to get it inspected first,
Now I need to schedule a day for the building to come get installed.
